Aging Related Research:
Neural and biomechanical mechanisms underlying reduced hand dexterity in healthy aging. Studies focus on recording the fingertip forces exerted against objects that are manipulated, along with hand and object kinematics. Non-invasive brain stimulation has been employed to determine if improved dexterity can be achieved through stimulation-enhanced motor practice.
